A range of positive factors is contributing to the potential benefit of Yorbeau's shareholders.
Yorbeau's core Rouyn Property, straddling the Cadillac-Larder Lake Break, is located on a structure that has yielded numerous major gold-deposits. The site is a few kilometres from the town of Rouyn-Norandawith easy access to the labour pool and infrastructure of the Noranda mining camp in one of the most welcoming jurisdictions for mining in the world.
Sixty kilometers to the west of the Rouyn Property, sharing many of the same geological and mineralization characteristics, the Kerr-Addison Mine produced some eleven million ounces of gold.
The previous owner of the Augmitto Block collected an enormous amount of geological data, sank a 250-metre shaft and excavated a 1,142-meter ramp with extensive underground development. Perfectly functional service buildings remain on site, which now house the Company's field office, core logging facility, and dry room. Extensive underground infrastructure also exists on Yorbeau's Astoria Block.
Yorbeau is operating within an ever more favourable global environment for gold. The consumer and investment demand for gold is steadily rising. At the same time, rapid depletion of gold reserves is the reality confronted by the world's major gold producers. This presents Yorbeau with a stellar opportunity to capitalize on the outstanding potential of its Rouyn Property.
The full extent of Yorbeau's value will be realized through ongoing exploration over the next several years, with another major drilling program that began in the first quarter of 2010.
