Yorbeau has been exploring this area for gold and/or polymetallic massive sulfide deposits since 1997. In 2003, the Company carried out exploration on the northwestern portion of the Beschefer property, along the contact of the Enjalran and Matagami-Brouillan volcanic domains. This area represents the eastern extension of Billiton's B-26 showing. The program consisted of compilation of Billiton and SOQUEM data, a geochemical study, 58.8 kilometres of line cutting, five drill holes totalling 1,895.7 meters, sampling, and in-hole Pulse EM surveys.

Although economic quantities of sulfide were not encountered during this program, two holes showed the presence of chlorite alteration of the rhyolites, which merits further exploration. The Beschefer property has 10 kilometres of this favourable felsic rock horizon, which has only been tested by 23 holes, most of which were less than 200 meters in length and 15 of which are located within the two first kilometres to the west. The Enjalran - Matagami-Brouillan contact also exhibits magnetic anomalies. Future exploration will focus on these two favourable horizons, especially near the two holes mentioned above, and towards the eastern end of the property.
